Shutdown Linux

Hallo all

We have a UPS. When it sends a signal I have to shutdown some machines. I
prepared a script for that. That no problem with the windows machines. But
I also have one linux machine. I have no idea how to shut down a linux
machine from within a windows script.

Here's one suggestion, involving running a telnet script from a small
batch file:
