Shutdown Failure

Wheneveer I shutdown my XP Pro system I get 2 program failures - hpcmpngr.exe
and PNRP Window.

Can anyone offer any suggestions about what might be causing this?

If you spelled "hpcmpNgr.exe" correctly I suspect malware. Try "Spybot
S&D" If it is really "hpcmpMgr.exe" it's HP autoupdater. try HP tech
support.
