Shut Down

I'm having a recurring problem with my WinXP not wanting
to shut down when I select:
Start
Shutdown Computer
Turnoff.
The machine Hangs. The a dialog box appears and at the
top is says, "DRGTODSC"

Can anyone give me some advise on how to fix this issue?
