Shut down

I have a Window's XP. I am recently getting a message
from window's that my computer will be shutting down
within a minute and to save my files before it does. I
would like to know what is making it do that? Why is the
computer shutting down without me doing it? Thank you for
your help.
 
Probably got the blaster virus then !

What antivirus do you have ? Is it up to date ? What firewall do you use ?
Is it software or hardware ? If it is software is it up to date ? Is your
antivirus patterns up to date ? Are your critical updates up to date ?
