shut down icon missing

when I log into my computer on one of my administrator screen names my
shutdown icon does not show up when I press click on start , only the logoff
icon shows. How do I get the shutdown icon to show again or what can I do?

I would check your settings in the Group Policy Editor.
Start-Run-gpedit.msc

Check your Group Policy settings by running 'gpedit.msc'
Under 'Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Windows
Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment'
Click on the 'Shut down the system' setting
Click 'Add User or Group', click 'Advanced', click 'Find Now', select
'Administrator' from the list, click 'OK'
Note: You can add other user groups by following the same procedure above.
