Version 2.0 was completely redesigned and covers virtually all of your
requests in our forum. V 2.0 is, as matter of fact, ?your baby?. So,
what is new:
Machinist2.dll - We adjusted the interface to the new Machinist2.dll
that is out there. Now, backups of DVDs can be made that could not be
handled by tools like DVDShrink
Auto-Repair - We added an auto-repair function to handle bad sectors in
case of minor scratches and damage on the original DVD. This does not
affect the picture quality, it is exactly like the quality on that
original DVD.
Dynamic compression - We improved the code of the dynamic (distributed)
compression rate resulting in a even sharper picture.
Build in player - The built-in player allows you to view the video
tracks when you make your selection.
Skin - Thanks to your donations we were able to buy an external skin
component. We hope that now all the reports of distorted GUIs belong to
the past.
Burn baby burn - The FoxBurner Burning component comes with the
ShrinkTo5 package. You don?t have to donate nor do you have to download
it separately.
Utilities - We added some general functions like Screen Saver Disabler,
play sound when finished, recording device selector.
Shell? - The burning dialog was removed. Now, you can burn directly from
the Windows Explorer (Shell Extension).
ISO image - Copied images can be saved as a ISO image or can be burned
on a DVD blank. (No ISO ?on-the-Fly?).

Shrinkto5 is adware. The even mention in on their site. The site
mentions that they us WhenU.

Do a Google search, there are many sites about WhenU. WhenU is very
much hated by a lot of people.

Unfortuntely, people need to remember that in many cases, adware
borders on spyware.
