I just created a new XP Pro SP1 install. I don't see a way to access
the Administrator Account from the Welcome Screen. My existing
installation shows Administrator on its Welcome Screen. How do I fix that?

Once you add another account and put it in the Administrators group, the
default Administrator account no longer shows on the Welcome screen. Once
option, since you are using XP Pro, is to press CTL-ALT-DEL at the Welcome
screen. This will bring up a classic W2K style logon dialog where you can
enter the account name that you want to log on with. This way you can still
log on with the default Administrator account when needed but don't have to
see it always on the Welcome screen.

If you want to see it on the Welcome screen, see the download at
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_admin_ok.htm for a small program that
will add it for you. If you want to know the changes the program will make
to add Administrator back to the Welcome screen see
http://www.petri.co.il/add_the_administrator's_account_to_the_welcome_screen_in_xp_pro.htm.

Tweak UI "Logon" setting has a check-box Show "Administrator" on
Welcome screen. On my computer, I have the default administrator
account as well as another with full administrative privileges. Both
show up on the Welcome screen.

When you need help, should I ignore you -- even if I know the answer?

If you can't get into the administrator account at all press and hold
the <alt> and <ctrl> keys down with one hand and then press the Delete
key twice with the other hand. But if all you want to do is add the
Administrator account to the login screen read here ...
