showing database window

I was messing around with user level security (stupid me) and turned
off the show full menus, special keys, etc at startup. Now how do I
get them back?

Try holding down the shift key while you're opening the database.

I did that, opens under admin. but any changes I make to the startup
options do not "stay" in place when i later open it through the .mdw

Besides the shift key when opening did you ever get anymore information on
this?
You can also try hitting the F11 key.
I am having the same problem and neither one of them work
