Show Value in Combo-Field(Access97)

Hi NG

in a form i'm havinge a combo-field where i select
the existing year-values from a table

2002
2003
2004
etc.

how i can i achieve that a value is shown automatically
when i start my form.
right now it's blank, but if i open the combo box, the values are there.
