There used to be a tool that allowed one to view BCCs (Blind Copied) on
incoming email, thus allowing one to know if the person sending the email had
BCC's anyone else on the email. I believe I found the add-in tool on
www.slipstick.com years ago; however, I can not now find this utility. Does
anyone know of such a utility?

Thanks!

As far as I know, no tool like that exists since BCC info isn't sent in the
mail item to other users. I seem to remember back in the mists of time there
was an issue with an early version of OL97 allowing BCC discovery but that
hole has been plugged for many years. I'm not even sure if I'm remembering
that right....

I know I've done it in the past, with a utility, but if the hole has been
plugged, then maybe it is not doable with a utility anymore, hence my not
seeing it on the Slipstick site.

Thanks!

Simply impossible, as the Bcc information is not included in any header.
Only tracing the actual SMTP protocols between the sending and receiving
routers could any hint of this be determined and even if you did, all you'd
know was that you yourself were Bcc'd, not whether or not anyone else was.

I'd have to concur with Vince " there

managing an Exchange environment.
