oops ... bugger

McRAPEE ... gotta laugh, more holes than a mole ... just MY personal opinion. ;)

You have a Trojan ... Trojan-PWS.Onlinegames.BS ... is the one I suspect has infected your PC, all drives.

Try all of the following ...

CounterSpy V2 Not free, but I know it knows about your Trojan

SUPERAntiSpyware Free, pretty good.

RogueRemover New kid, doing rather well ... may be a winner.

Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware Beta, but good reports.

HijackThis Download & run this program, post its log file in you next post ... we'll take a look at how bad you are infected. :thumb:

Hey, very good, just a few things needed to clean up ...

Get HJT to 'fix' the following entries ...

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=
A left-over, needs fixing

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [amva] C:\WINDOWS\system32\amvo.exe
ah, here is your Nastie, a bad boy ... needs fixing.
It's gonna take a lot more than HJT to get this bugger off your PCs.

O9 - Extra button: BitComet - {D18A0B52-D63C-4ed0-AFC6-C1E3DC1AF43A} - res://C:\Program Files\BitComet\tools\BitCometBHO_1.1.11.30.dll/206 (file missing)
Harmless, but fix it to tidy up.

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{EA1D4E9A-40E5-4881-AD71-68FBB506FD1A}: NameServer = 61.1.96.69,61.1.96.71
Needs fixing

Now the hard bit ...

Turn off system restore ...
These instructions assume that you are using the default Windows XP Start Menu and not the Classic Start menu. To enable the default menu, right-click Start/Properties/Start menu (not Classic) and then click OK.
  1. Click Start.
  2. Right-click the My Computer icon and then click Properties.
  3. Click the System Restore tab.
  4. Select "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives".
  5. Click Apply, then Yes, and finally click on the OK button.
Uninstal McAfee ... no, really, it cannot clean your system ... in its place, install Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS7) Install, update, run a complete scan. :thumb:

Then, go get RRT (Remove Restrictions Tool) read the instructions.

The fun bit is, you will/may need to tell KIS to allow this program to do its stuff ... allow it to do so.

Once finished, run another HJT log & post it here.

Once all tasks are completed, only then restore System restore
Enabling System Restore on Windows XP
  1. Click Start.
  2. Right-click My Computer and then click Properties.
  3. Click the System Restore tab.
  4. Uncheck "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives."
  5. Click Apply and then click OK.

Sorry mucks, don't you have to warn him or sth? that amvo.exe is a Trojan.Bacdoor or rootkit, however you call it, it collects your banking passwords, windows passwords....every kind of personal information...
It is always suggested to reformat rather than go fixing, only if you don't do any banking or don't care about your passwords..

Your computer has multiple infections, including a backdoor. A backdoor gives intruders complete control of your computer, logs your keystrokes, steal personal information, etc.

This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:

How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud?

When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall

We can attempt to clean this machine but i can't guarantee that it will be 100% secure afterwards.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Please let us know what you have decided to do in your next post.
