show each individual bcc name on email

I have a mass mailing email letter to send to over 5000 employees.
Information was to be completed by employees by a certain time frame and this
letter is requesting information to be completed immediately. However, we do
not want anyone else to see who received the message. Which is why I
initially wanted to put the names in the BCC field. The employees are in our
company's global address server but I do not have them in any other contact
list. Is there a way in which the employee's name could appear on just their
email so they would know the email was directly sent to them?

Mail Merge is the only way to do this.

That would require all the email addresses to be located in one file, correct?
