I've seen an icon called "Show desktop" on some PCs. How do I add that to
my taskbar?

Thank you. I had the Quick launch toolbar off which is why I could not see
it.

Or you can simply press windows key + M

create a shortcut to this file on the quicklaunch tool bar:
"C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Desktop\Show Desktop.scf"

Wow. Now that is great to know.

However it does it by minimizing everything which is not as nice as the
desktop toolbar icon that shows you what is on your desktop without
minimizing the
windows you are working on.

Where can I find out the other "windows key + something" shortcuts? Is there
one that does what the taskbar's "desktop toolbar" does?
