"Show common tasks"

I have a problem. There is a folder option called "show common tasks
in folders." What it does is list a bunch of possibilities on the
left side of each folder view. One has the option of turning this
off, so that the folder contents starts at the far left.
Unfortunately, when I check this option, it turns off the common tasks
feature on every folder in the computer!

I want to be able to turn this feature off in one folder view, but not
all of them. How can I do this?

It's driving me nuts.

Hopefully,

It's not possible as that is a global setting. However minimizing the folder (by dragging the edges) makes the Common Tasks pane disappear at one stage.

Fine, but I think you should reply to the OP also. When you
don't have something to say, that is EXACTLY what you should
say! Insults and your own bawling only make you look bad.
Same goes for when you know the answer too, you know. If
you don't know, don't talk. Giving a DIFFERENT" answer is
like asking a (make up your own analogy here)

You mean like you do all the time? All you do is go after Mr Candy, without
providing any help. Seems like a vicious cycle for you eh?

In any event, you can go fùçk yourself with a rusty sword

I replied on purpose to you since your answer did not make sense. I wanted
you to see my post.

I know what I am doing.

Just press the FOLDERS button on the explorer toolbar and the
common tasks will be subtituted by a list of your folders.

My reply perfectly makes sense and I too know what I'm doing. If you have a different answer, you can always reply to the OP. And, if case you find one of my posts incorrect, you may reply with the proper explanation. In this case, both are different answers and none of them are wrong I would say.
