i think it stinks MSN is charging for my hotmail to come through my MS
outlook account! I'm already paying a provider for DSL, Bellsouth! I
purchased office 2003, why should i have to pay AGAIN for hotmail to
send/receive through my MS outlook?!?

Ask MSN; the Microsoft Office Outlook team isn't responsible for this.

Note that the e-mail appliation (Outlook) and the e-mail account (Hotmail)
are two separate and different products.

What does paying BellSouth have to do with hotmail? Do you get free fries at
Wendy's because you bought a burger at McDonald's?

If you want to access hotmail in Outlook you need to pay for the premium
service. If Bellsouth is partnering with msn for online services, then take
it up with BellSouth - they are the ones who decided what services to
contract from MSN (Most partners provide premium services... and the msn
premium service includes mool.)
