Should I uninstall mp10(Beta) before installing SP2?

I have been running the beta version of media player 10. Does SP2 have the
full release of mp10? Does mp10(Beta) have to be uninstalled?
 
Nope - I didn't uninstall WMP10 before I installed SP2.

When you run it after SP2 has been installed, it will go through the
config thing again - asking you what files you want to associate with it
etc.

Seems to work fine!

No. The final WMP10 is not yet out and SP2 installs WMP9. To avoid
confusion I would uninstall that beta, install SP2, then reinstall the
Beta, or perhaps await the final WMP 10 which should not be far off now
