Should I Un-Install Previous Microsoft AntiSpyware???

Should I UNinstall the previous version of Microsoft Antispyware before I
download Defender?
OR -- will Defender integrate with Antispyware? making necessary changes
including new desktop icon?
OR -- will I need to uninstall the previous version after downloading
Defender?

Yes. I can't find the link now, but they do recommend that you uninstall the
Giant software prior to upgrading.
 
The instructions say that Defender will uninstall MSAS during its
installation process. However, when I tried to install W Defender over MSAS,
there were MSAS components and shortcuts left. I think it is best to
uninstall MSAS before installing Window Defender. IMO
