Should I have msagent?

I have a folder called msagent in my Windows folder. My
friend said this contains a virus, and there's a picture
of a detective looking guy. After clicking on it, a
folder called chars appears and there is a bunch of agent
files like agent01.dll and agent89.dll. When I hold the
mouse over the picture, it says Microsoft Agent and
Microsoft Corporation. Does anyone if this is really a
virus or just built in Windows XP?

I have it in my windows folder , It is not a virus .... Total
