I was upgrading to Winxp when my comuter went into a reboot loop. It would
not recognize the XP install CD to reinstall or recover so I put in my Win
2000 disc. Its now resinstalled to W2K. It partitioned I think, the drive
though in disk mamt it shows just a 40 gig volume and does not memtion
anything about a partition. I can see all the old information 20 gigs of
stuff in Explorer, show 20 of 40 gigs in proerties on C drive but nothing is
installed. Is this mormal? Do I now reinstalll all programs? Should I now
contuniue with upgrage to Winxp? Look for the next

Hi,

Upgrade to XP, then reinstall programs. Sounds like you just have one large
partition that encompasses all of the drive, that's fine.
