Should flag for follow up remind the sender?

I think I already know the answer but I am looking jfor someone to confirm.
Messages the have been flagged for follow up will only pop up reminders if
they are in the inbox. Thus messages that I send with flags will not remind
me, just the person I sent it to. Correct?
