Shortcuts to Network via software

L

Lee

Hi there,

In Windows 2000, I could save/navigate to my network folders from
any program by selecting the shortcuts I made to my network on the desktop.

In Windows XP, my programs see the desktop shortcuts as objects instead or
not at all.

Does anyone know if there is a setting in XP that will allow me to navigate
from any program to network folders via desktop shortcuts rather than having
to go 'the long
way'? (the way I could in win2000)

Thank you,
Lee.

Hi Malke,

This is my first crosspost. Question: What is the date of your response?
I can't find it. I'm searching through Malke's from July 27 to 29.

Search for *your* name using Google Groups, not mine.
