Finding The Network

A

aimster

I have four computers on a network. One of them has an issue. When I open My
Network Places, I see nothing. Yet I have a shortcut to a shared folder on
the desktop which is working.

I have a program that I need to designate the data locations for. The
location is on the newtork. I cannot see the network location when browsing
for it on that one computer. I cannot even see the shortcut on the desktop.
How can I make them show up?

It could be the computer browser issue. Any errors if running net view
command? Or this search result may help.

Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,
http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.
