Shortcuts to Favourites not working

Hi All

For some reason the shortcuts in my Favourites folder have stopped working.
Very occasionally (and randomly) I can open a link by using the right-click
option. I can still get on to (for example) the BBC site using the Explorer
address bar or Google.

I have run Spybot, Ad-Aware, CCleaner & a virus check, without success.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

It happens!

The best way to "uncorrupt" a corrupted shortcut is to save a new shortcut
while you are visiting the web page. Overwrite the old with the new.

A few years ago I lost hundreds favorites. I had to start new, and I never
did remember all of them.
