In Access XP I was able to create shortcuts for various database objects to
the desktop so a user could immediately bring up a form or report. I
upgraded a user on a new PC to Access 2007 and can't figure out how to do
this. Would appreciate help with this.

Thanks,
Cathy

I just tried this in access 2007, and it works just as before...

You should be able to simply drag a form onto your desktop, and a shortcut
should appear for that form. when I say drag the form, I actually mean
select the form from the list of forms, and simply drag that form onto your
desktop. This is exactly the same process as was in previous versions of
ms-access.

Thanks! Sure 'nuff, that was it. It was six years ago when I did this for a
client and totally forgot how I did it.
