how do I create shortcut for an access table?

Tina at UIS

We just got new computers. I used to have a shortcut to an Access TABLE (not
database) on my desktop. I can figure out how to create a shortcut to the
database on my new desktop, but not to a table within the database. How
would I do this?

We now have Windows XP and Office 2007.

Thanks,
Tina

Open up the database in design view
Click on the table and drag it to your desktop
That should automatically create the shortcut

Just note that if you have more than one version of Access on your computer
the shortcut may call the wrong version.
