shortcuts hanging

Hello-

After installing SP4 on pcs anytime a user right clicks on
a shortcut the pc hangs for about a minute or two... has
anyone seen this issue befoe? Appreciate the help, thanks.
 
I've seen this when novices created images without knowing what they were
doing and wound up having all shortcuts targeted at
\\imagetemplatepc\c$\program files\... instead of C:\Program Files...

Ray at work- thanks for the suggestion

The shortcuts are targeted correctly... I wish it were
that easy.

The menus responded slowly when right clicking on a
shortcut after the installation of SP4 on a known good
O/S... thanks again.
