When brining up my system yesterday, a message poped up saying a had a
malicious code file and needed to delete it. The filename was "Prism.exe".
I deleted that file and two others (Prisminstall.exe & Prism.dll). At least
I believe the last two names are correct.

The problem now is that my desktop Shortcuts are gone! I had to go into
File Manager to get here.

Does anyone have advice on how I can fix my computer. Steam is coming out
of my wife's ears.

It is quite easy to create a shortcut. However, replacing all of your
shortcuts can be quite time consuming.

When you found the program that you use to send mail, etc., on the file
manager menu, all you needed to do is to drag the file name onto the
desktop.
Learn how to do this; this probably won't be the last time that you need to
recreate desktop shortcuts.
