Shortcut to URL hijacks open IE instead of opening new instance ...

Hello -

Is there a default setting in XP (Professional SP2) that I am missing
to specify that a double-click on a URL shortcut opens a new instance
of IE? Right now the double-clicked URL takes over the last open IE I
worked in that is still open ... which can be particularly annoying if
there is a form where I already entered some data.

Thanks for any hints!

In IE go to Tools-Internet Options-Advanced and scroll down to (I think)
Browsing and make sure that the option to re-use Windows is UNCHECKED....
