Howdy all,
I want to open an Internet Shortcut in a new window. So for instance if
I have my favorites folder open in Windows Explorer & I want to open a
shortcut into a new window (rather than replacing an existing open IE
window), I could right-click and choose Open In New Window - just like
I can with a HTML file or a link on a site.
I have been able to do this before, I found a registry hack that
changed the context menu for this purpose. Note, this is different from
the hack that does the same thing for HTML files.
The best use I will get from this: I have my Links folder displayed in
the toolbar. If I decide I'm finished with the IE window I'm working on
& click one of the shortcuts on the Links toolbar it will replace the
window nicely. But I want to able to open the Links shortcut in a new
window if I'm finished with the existing page.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Nathan
