Shortcut problem

I recently uninstalled Avant Browser because of its
instability, but my desktop icons - browswer shortcuts -
fail to respond. Instead I am asked if I want to print.
Please help me restore my desktop internet shortcut icons
automatically.

Hi Yoda,

Internet Options, Programs tab. Enable "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser".

Also, post back the Operating System used.
