Shortcut not working correctly

When I open My Computer, it shows all the drives and other things. I click on
Local Drive C and instead of showing me all the folders on the drive, it
opens the Search Window. All of my other Shortcuts work perfectly. Any
Ideas ?

Here is what may be a similar issue. When I hit any of the letters asdfjkl;\
on my keyboard I immediatley get the characters \;lkjfdsa appear as a
result AND the windows search dialog box opens.

What is the cause and the solution for this?
