shortcut keys

I am getting really tired of hitting a combination of
keystrokes and having my program minimized (or in some
cases shut down completely!).

Is there any way to disable certain shortcut keys? I
remember doing this in Windows 98, but I can't find any
such feature in XP.

Have you checked Accessibility in Control Panel to see if
StickyKeys is turned on ?

I checked StickyKeys and unfortunately, that's not it. The
one I'm having the most problem with is Alt-F3, which will
shut down the program I'm working in. As far as I can tell,
it's a standard Windows Shortcut key. All I want to do is
disable it.

Any other ideas?

Alt + F3 does nothing in Windows.
