Shortcut Key "Num"?

In Symbol, the shortcut key combination for En Dash
is "Ctrl+Num - "

What does "Num" refer to? What key is it?

I believe it to be the "minus" key on the Numeric keypad (top right key on
most keyboards). Basically the "dash" key up by the backspace key won't
work
