Shortcut for Compose New Message

Is there a way to create a desktop shortcut to automatically bring up
a) a new blank Outlook Express email compose window
b) a new blank IncrediMail email compose windo
(separate shortcuts, of course

I use a different email client as default but would like a quick way to bring up a new email window in those two clients without having to open the full programs (inbox and all)

If you creat a shortcut (right-click Desktop, New,
Shortcut) and in the Address field put "mailto:", that
should open up a blank e-mail form for you to compose
from your default email program (Outlook Express, I'm
guessing). As for the other, maybe someone else knows.

I tried that... but OE is not my default email program so it didn't work.

Start OE.
Start a new message.
File Save As
Save as an eml file.
This file will be a template and can be used over and over.

The mailto shortcut should open your default email program.
