short date format not working while i try to excel afte

I want to get the result as 2-Feb after typing 25/2 in excel after i login on
my domain. I can get the result in local admin login. Why?
 
Make sure your windows short date format is in dmy order.

But I don't have a guess how 25/2 would relate to 2-Feb.

Maybe you meant 25-Feb???
