Shockwave (.SWF) files in PPT

Hi all,

I am going to be using a PPT presentation that contains several embedded SWF movies. The presentation was created using PPT 2002, but I am not guaranteed what versions of PPT or the computer setups I will encounter when using this presenation on the road (in various computer labs).

Preparing for problems, how can I best troubleshoot if the movies will not play? Is it all dependendent on the Shockwave plugin?
They play fine on my computer - but it can't be 'that' easy.

Thank you,

It is dependent on having the shockwave plugin, and at least the version of
Flash that was used to create the SWF (i.e. a Flash MX file will not work if
the target machine has only the Flash 4 plugin).
If you used the SwiffPoint Player to insert the movie you'll need that on
the machine too.
And if you want to make sure that the movies always play from the start
you'll need the Flashback add in (unless you used the SwiffPoint Player to
insert the movie).

PowerPoint version should only matter as far as it would with any other
presentation (i.e. if you've created it in PowerPoint 2002 it will work in
2002 and 2003 as expected and in 97 and 2000 without any of the features
exclusive to later versions).
