I'm trying to load new software and I'm getting the error
message that shell.dll not found. What can I do?

Hi,

Method 1:
=========
1. Click Start -> Run
2. SFC /Scannow

Method 2:
=========
There should be 2 copies of shell.dll. One in the C:\windows\system folder
and other one in the c:\windows\system32 folder. Please copy the file if
one of the folder does not have the file.

Hope this helps ...... :)

It appears from your reply that you are missing the space between SFC and
/Scannow.
