Missing SHELL.dll

I hope someone can answer this> I installed SP1 but I am
still missing the SHELL.dll file...I cannot load the
drivers for my printer. I keep getting "An Error
Occurred, Missing SHELL.dll "
Can anyone tell me how to reinstall this file...I thank
you all in advance.

Sorry no email support, asked and answered here.

Reboot and go into the BIOS if needed to boot CD first, then boot the
XP CD and go into the recovery console by choosing the first R for repair.

Unless you set a password on the hidden administrator account when you
first installed XP assume it's blank and hit enter or enter the password.

Type:
Expand X:\i386\shell.dl_ C:\Windows\system32\shell.dll
where X: is the drive letter for the CD drive
