SHDOLC.DLL/dnserror.htm

Hello:

My comupter came up with this error msg last week:
"windows\sys32\shdolc.dll\dnserror.htm"

I am now unable to use my DSL modem hooked up to my
Linksys router. If I disconnct the router, go direct to
the DLS modem, I have Internet access, but no network
then.

I receive an update from Microsoft approx. two weeks
prior to this. I'm not sure if this had anything to do
with the problem, I'm looking for the fix though.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Did this update come via your mailbox, or did you go and download it from
Microsoft directly?
