Sharing printers between Vista and XP

I have tow printers connected to a PC with Vista x64.
Two other PC's are running XPSP2.
File sharing works OK vice versa.
I set the printers to sharing, activated the Guest account and switched
everything I could find to "on" or "yes"etc.
Still, the printers can not be used from the XP stations.
It stops during the wizard Add Printer, the printers can not be found.

What to do?

what happens when you backdoor into the vista computer from the xp computer?
also do you have a firewall on? and UAC turned off?
