Sharing Power Point files between Power Point 97 and XP

I'm trying to share a presentation with two users. One
has Power Point XP and the other Power Point 97. The
presentation was created in XP but is being edited in
97. When there are any edits done with the 97 version
and send to the person that has the XP version the
changes look different in both versions. Is there a way
to work around this problem without upgrading the 97
machine.

Any help will be appreciated.

It's hard to say without knowing what differences you're seeing between the
versions.
