Sharing Picture files not possible

I have setup up my computer so that all photos downloaded from my Canon go
directly to Shared Pictures - into a Raw Photos file.

Certain of these photos (seems to be at random) are not able to be displayed
my my wife in her account. The photos are shown without the camera
information and thus when a picture software tries to open (Photo studio,
Picture viewer, etc.) the format indicates not valid or supported. If a copy
of the file is made - then the program recognizes the file, and all of the
raw camera inf is there.

Any ideas on how to fix this so that my wife can view all photos downloaded?

Thanks.

I don't know if it applies to your issue but
I've seen reports that rotated images can
sometimes display the same behavior.

I don't have a fix other than resaving I just
wanted to offer the info.
