sharing - or lack of - calanders

Linda

Our small voluntary sector office just got installed two
new computers which were sold to us with xp. our network,
and the other computers run on98 or 2000. The new
computers don't recognise the sharing functionality that
our others do - have we been mis-sold xp or is there some
way to share calanders in xp that is not outlined in the
help function??

Its a really big problem as they were sold OEM so our
support is supposed to come from the seller, but they're
lazy bastards and are unlikely to admit they sold us
something incompatable with what they had previously sold
us.

please help!!!

There are two types of XP.. XP home and Professional

XP home is a NON networking OS , you have to pay extra for the networking OS

XP Home does work in a peer-to-peer networking environment. It does
not provide for logging into a Windows domain controller.
