Sharing network printer w/Me & XP home

Here is my problem. I have a desktop (PC1) that has Win Me
OS. It has a Lexmark X83 printer USB installed. It
is "hard wire" connected to a Linksys wireless B router
(sharing cable internet). I also have a Dell laptop with
Win XP Home (PC2). It is connected to the router via a
Linksys wireless B card. I thought I had set up the
network just fine. I can share files between PC1 and PC2.
I can access the internet with PC1 and PC2. And, I can
print all day onto the Lexmark X83 via PC1, but no matter
what I try, I cannot print to the X83 via PC2! Here is a
list of things that I have done already.

1) Deleted and re-loaded the drivers (from the install
disk and from the Lexmark website) on PC2.
2) Ran network wizard (on both computers) several times.
3) Tried to install the X83 on PC2 via a local port.

The printer shows up as a Network shared printer under
PC2's network neighborhood, but when I try to print a test
page it always says the same thing.
"Test page failed to print. Would you like to view the
print troubleshooter for assistance? Unable to create a
print job?"

I have tried about all that I know. If anyone knows how I
can print to my Lexmark via my XP home laptop, please e-
mail me. Thanks!!!!!!!

I have disabled the ICF on my XP laptop. Still won't
print. Any other suggestions?

I think it is one or both of the following:

1) I need to update my Me (PC1) to XP home.
2) My Lexmark X83 just won't network properly.
