I am new to this board. Where would I strat threads relating to window
2003 severs, here?

I set up a new site on my 2003 server. Both the website and mail wor
fine. However, I am not sure I did it right. It would not let m
"start" the domain because its IP is being used by another site.
changed the TCP port to 81 and it let me "start" it. Then I change
the port back to 80. I then went into host headers and saw that it ha
the shared IP address (without the name) in the field. Perhaps it adde
it automatically when I changed the port to 80. In order to properl
share an IP, is there anything I should put in host headers? Do I lis
BOTH sites shared IP in the host headers for EACH site? To sum thing
up, I am trying to do this:

www.abc.com (IP 1)
www.xyx.com (IP1)

but I am NOT trying to do this:

www.abc.com (IP1)
def.abc.com (IP1)

When I set up FTP for the new site, I was not able to use port 21 so
made it 22 and now FTP works. But I am not sure that that i
technically a good idea.

Thanks,
Ro
