Sharing Folder in Second Drive

When i try to share a certain folder in my second HD it just doesn´t happens.
If i try to share the root folder of that drive it'e allowed. But i don't
want to share the root folder of that drive, just some sub-folders.

Any ideas ?

I use winxp sp2

I can't see those folders from any other machine.

I just tried to share thre root folder (D and it worked and from within it
i tried to share any other folder but it stays the same way, of course that
in this situation they are seen from anywhere.

I dont understand why subfolders cannot be shared. One more tip - even right
clicking one of those folders to see the properties, they don't appear, the
same way the system dosn't answers to the command to sharing the folders.
