Sharing Files/Router

I need some help please. I have three computers that I
am networking. They are all connected through a D-Link
router. I can share the printer but I am having a hard
time sharing files. I looked over the network wizard in
XP and it is recommending a configution of connecting one
of the computers to the DSL modem and then use that one
as the ICS Host. However, my computer has only one
ethernet connection. It then recommends to use a
residential gateway. What is that? A HUB or router and
will this solve the file sharing issue? Thanks!

Just grab a hub, plug the router into the hub, make sure
DHCP is on (router)and you will be set. Don't ever do ICS.

Hi.
Your Router is also a 4 port switch.
If your computers are connected to the Internet and it is working correctly,
the Sharing is a matter of setting Windows Sharing capacities.
May be this can Help: http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
