Sharing active directory

P

Pirillo

Hallo,

i've a windows 2000 domain and a win 2003 SBS. I would trust the domain but
with SBS is not possibile. I could attach the SBS in domain but i kmow that
i've to promote the SBS as the master domain and i can't do this.
Is there another method to sharing the windows 2000 active directory in SBS
? . Is there some thirdy part connecctor or something similar ?. On the SBS
I'va an exchange server.

Thanks to all

That's right.
I could attach the SBS in

It must have that role or you can't use it.

Nope. Not that I know of.
On the SBS I'va an exchange server.

If you want to use SBS, you will need to integrate it into your existing
domain using something like www.sbsmigration.com - and then it will become
the 'first' DC in your domain and hold all the FSMO roles. However, you can
certainly have additional DCs.

If you can't do this, you've probably bought the wrong product....
