Sharing a scanner on Win2kserver

I installed a scanner on my mini attept of a network on my
server and I'm trying to get it to share with the
network. Any clue? It's not as easy as the printers.

It is not practical to share a scanner so not many, if any, manufacturers
provide that capability. The method is to share a folder on the computer to
which the scanner is attached. You scan the documents and save them in that
shared folder. You can then access the scanned documents over the network
from this folder. The reason for this is that you have to be physically at
the scanner to scan a document anyway.
