Sharing a newly created folder in Contacts in Outlook 2003 and EX

Thanks you Sue for your previous help but I still cannot get this working.

After creating a new folder in Contacts I tried to share it with someone by
doing the following:

I shared and gave permissions to the new folder
I shared and gave permissions to my Contacts folder
I shared and gave permissions to my Mailbox

The person I shared my folders with then went to the Advanced tab to view
the contents of my Mailbox. When he views his Contacts he sees my name but is
unable to view the folder I created.

What step am I missing?

He should look in the Folder List to see your mailbox and the folders you shared.

Sue,
Thanks.

When I open up the Outlook account of the person who I am sharing the
folder with I see my personal contacts folder and the contents but I do not
see the new folder I created and shared with him.

What can I do so the newly created folder appears?

This is in the Folder List navigation pane? Sounds like you need to recheck the permissions on the subfolder that was shared.

Sue,
Thanks for all your help.

Once I went to Go > Folder List I was able to view Contacts in my folder
list. I then shared the missing folder that was blocking my friend from
seeing the shared contact folder.
